Kenny Renshaw, at just five years old, has already been raising some money for our support service.
Kenny was initially diagnosed with a brain tumour last year, but has since been rediagnosed with Encephalitis . To say thanks to brainstrust for supporting him and his family, Kenny decided to set himself a sponsorship challenge.
“As a family we received great support from Pete and brainstrust when we had Kenny’s initial diagnosis of a brain tumour last November, which after surgery has been redignosed as Encephalitis. Kenny decided to learn to ride a bike without stabilisers then send donations to brainstrust. And the challenge was to do it before his sixth birthday”
– Caroline Renshaw, Kenny’s mum
Well, Kenny only went and completed his challenge in 3 days! What a star.
Thank you Kenny. We hope you’ve rewarded yourself with lots of fun bike rides!
