Simon Wayne, whose sister Caroline was diagnosed with a brain tumour, rode in the inaugural Prudential Ride London 100 mile cycle ride to raise money for brainstrust and our work to help brain tumour patients and their carers.
Achieving something of a record for an individual fundraiser in a single event, Simon has raised over £3,600 so far and is aiming to hit the £4,000 mark! We are so grateful to Simon for conquering both Leith Hill and Box Hill in Surrey, following the Olympic road cycle route and finishing inside 6 hrs 30 mins. A huge thank you from all of the brainstrust team!
We are hoping to secure some places in next year’s Ride London. If this ride, alongside professionals on closed roads is something you’re interested in then get in touch – tessa@brainstrust.org.uk or call 01983 292405
