In memory of a cherished colleague, M&G Wealth Advice recently organised a heartfelt day of fundraising.
This vibrant event, aptly named the Festival of Colour, brought together colleagues across all office locations, uniting them in a celebration of life and legacy.
The Festival of Colour was more than just a fundraising event; it was a testament to the impact of their colleague’s life and the enduring bonds of friendship and community. Through their heartfelt efforts, M&G Wealth Advice not only honoured the memory of their colleague but also made a meaningful contribution to a cause close to their hearts.
The Festival of Colour served as a poignant reminder of the power of community, unity, and remembrance. In the words of Pam, one of the event organisers;
Colleagues of M&G Wealth Advice hosted a Festival of Colour to raise funds for brainstrust in memory of a much-loved colleague and friend, who sadly passed away at the end of December 2023 after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. The Festival of Colour brought together colleagues across all office locations, who took part in a number of fun fundraising activities, which included bake sales, dressing in bright colours, face painting, raffles, quizzes and games. The event was a fantastic success and raised an amazing amount for those that need it most.
Our Support Specialist, Carol, had the pleasure of attending the event and shared her experience;
It was wonderful to be invited to M & G’s event in Stirling. The cake stall and raffle prizes proved very popular, and people were incredibly generous with their donations. It was lovely to have the opportunity to share the impact that fundraising has on the community we support. Fundraising truly transforms our community, and the kindness and generosity of donors are deeply appreciated.
As M&G Wealth Advice continues to carry forward the legacy of their colleague, they do so with gratitude, love, and a renewed sense of purpose. The Festival of Colour may have come to an end, but its impact will be felt for years to come, inspiring others to celebrate life and cherish the memories of those we hold dear.
From everyone here at brainstrust and the brain tumour community, thank you for your wonderful support.
