Rotary Club of Burnham on Crouch & Dengie Hundred
The Rotary Club of Burnham on Crouch & Dengie Hundred recently made an incredibly generous donation to brainstrust, following Keith Spencer’s term as Rotary President.
On Monday, members gave a warm welcome to our Regional Support Specialist, Jane, who was presented with a cheque for £1,500.00 (pictured to the left with current Rotary President, Dick Collins, alongside Treasurer, Mike Bikhazi).
The kindness and generosity shown by The Rotary Club of Burnham on Crouch & Dengie Hundred will ensure that we can continue our vital work supporting the 68,000 people living with a brain tumour here in the UK. Hearing the words “you have a brain tumour” is devastating, and can often lead to feelings of isolation, fear and loss of control. Through our tailored services (including coaching, workshops, Meetups and resources) we aim to create a world where people feel less afraid, less alone and more in control when faced with a brain tumour diagnosis. This is something we simply wouldn’t achieve without the support we receive from organisations like The Rotary Club of Burnham on Crouch & Dengie Hundred.
We would like to thank each and every member for their hard work and fantastic fundraising achievements.
