On the 23rd April Jonny Robson and 12 friends will be jumping on their bikes in Hebburn, South Tyneside and riding over 130 miles Edinburgh to raise awareness of the plight of brain tumour patients, their carers and of our work to support these people.
These guys are working hard, and taking on a huge challenge to reach their £1000 target. With the funds raised we’ll be able to do so much more to help brain tumour patients get back on top of things following a brain tumour diagnosis. Here’s what Jonny has to say:
“Hi everyone, over April 23rd and 24th myself and 12 mates will be setting off from Hebburn South Tyneside proceeding North on our bikes to cycle 136 miles to Edinburgh, all in aid of Brainstrust, please if you can spare 2 mins and a couple of quid visit www.justgiving.com/btawareness or pick up your mobile and text RTTR76 £amount to 70070, what is a couple of quid its less than a pint down the pub and what a way to help an amazing charity, please donate and help me help others, many thanks x x”
Can’t say fairer than that – forgo that extra pint this weekend, and donate a £3 to brainstrust via Jonny’s JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/btawareness (and don’t get us started on the cost of a pint these days!)
