Cancer Research UK has recently published their latest statistics on ‘lifetime risk of being diagnosed with cancer’. Their statistics for brain cancer includes “only malignant brain, other central nervous system (CNS) and intracranial tumours”.
Does this infer that benign tumours aren’t as isolating, terrifying or as much as a risk as any other type of cancer? Because they are and the day we start to recognise this can’t come soon enough.
For more information on where we stand in regards to benign brain tumours, read our response to ‘Do benign brain tumours exist?’, a recent question asked on the Jeremy Vine show.
