The UK is at the forefront of the fight against brain tumours. Around 500 children are diagnosed with a brain tumour each year and countless families are living with the disease.
This event will help you to understand the progress that is being made across many fronts in the work against brain tumours. You will discover more about:
- Cannabinoids and brain tumours
- Ketogenic diet and brain tumours
- Managing fatigue
- Proton beam therapy
- Acceptance and commitment theory
- Updates on research in early diagnosis
This is your chance to meet the doctors, scientists, patients, caregivers and charities who are leading the way in brain tumour support, research and campaigning. We are currently working on bringing together our agenda and will be uploading it to the symposium website in the next couple of weeks.
Our 2018 symposium last year bought together health care professionals, consultants, researchers, charity workers and families of childhood and teenage brain tumour patients. You can watch some of our speakers from last year here.
Thank you all for the informative, well presented symposium – keep up the important work.
