The London Medical Orchestra aims to entertain the public in the art of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities. Although many of the present members of the Orchestra are not members of the medical or ancillary professions, the Orchestra continues to have as one of its main purposes supporting medical charities through fundraising concerts three times a year.

Step into the vibrant world of music by joining us at the London Medical Orchestra’s highly anticipated Summer Concert which features the recently restored WWI memorial organ of St Mellitus Church in Camille Saint-Saëns’ famous Symphony No. 3 ‘Organ’.
The evening starts with the premiere of Dominic McGonigal’s Cathedral Symphony, written for London Medical Orchestra. Its four movements are inspired by astonishing architectural features of Lincoln, Bayeux, Beauvais and Mechelen Cathedrals; Gothic, Norman and Romanesque details are depicted by both full orchestral grandeur and quieter, mysterious harmonies.
