Hypnotherapy for scanxiety
Part 1: Wednesday 7 June, 14.00-15.00
Part 2: 14 June, 14.00-15.00
If you’re struggling to deal with anxiety caused by scans, processes and procedures – ‘scanxiety’ – plus the uncertainty from waiting for your results, join our two-part webinar series: your chance to take control again. Hypnotherapy for scanxiety June 2023 will cover:
- The first session introduces key ideas and concepts to form a foundation of knowledge. You will then practice your new skills allowing you to have experience creating and maintaining your own calming and unique sanctuary within.
- The second session will help you consolidate your calm connections to yourself, which can be drawn on when you feel anxious about scans and results.
We are fortunate that Louise Baker, MSc Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, has offered to run these sessions for us. Louise has run successful private hypnotherapy practices for over 20 years, including Harley Street and The Wren Clinic, helping many people using a variety of approaches. Recently retired from 1:1 work, Louise is now focused on bringing the power of this work to groups for brainstrust. Louise has been working with brainstrust for over 5 years, and so in addition to her general therapeutic practice, she has a keen understanding of the particular challenges of living with a brain tumour diagnosis.
