Wednesday 3rd March, 10.30-12.30pm
Take a couple of hours out of your day to discover how painting can be a wonderful mindful activity, allowing stresses and worries to fade into the background as you focus on the task at hand.
We’ll be painting lilacs in a jar. Ideally you’ll have:
- Cotton buds
- A paint brush
- White, red, purple, green, yellow acrylic paints
- Some thick paper or card
But whatever tools you have – pencils, paints or anything else – please join us and see how creativity can help you unwind when living with a brain tumour.
Our workshop will be led by Maddy James. Maddy, a qualified tutor, is a self-taught artist who lives in Cowes in the beautiful Isle of Wight. For the past 4 years Maddy has taught art from her studio and more recently via Zoom. With Maddy you will not do formulaic painting, draw a line here and a circle there for example, but she will guide you to discover your own style whilst enjoying the process of being creative.
