Cloe Higgs leaps from a plane for brainstrust and our brain tumour support work
Cloe, 17, decided that she wanted to take on an exciting challenge for brainstrust and our work to support brain tumour patients and their carers. So she sensibly decided to jump out of a plane!
Cloe’s skydive for brainstrust took place on Saturday, and her leap has so far raised over £700 in sponsorship. Because of the sudden rainfall it took a nerve-wracking 2 passes before Cloe was given the all clear to jump and she landed safely after the second attempt.
Cloe, by far our youngest every sky diver said to us, “It was great and I wanted to go up again! it is a pleasure to raise funds for your wonderful work with brain tumour patients”
Well, what can we say? A huge thank you to Cloe, and to her parents, Kevin and Shirley for supporting their daughter in her search for an adrenaline fuelled fundraising activity. We will be spending the funds that Cloe raised wisely, on more brain boxes, updates to the brain tumour hub and keeping our 25/7 brain tumour support line open.
