Help us improve our support
Becoming a caregiver for someone with brain cancer can happen abruptly or creep in slowly unnoticed until one day you realise you are caring more for someone else than you are for yourself. It is not a job you applied for. And this new job as a caregiver can become as frightening as the initial diagnosis of a brain tumour.
Our goal is to provide a gold standard support service for caregivers, one that extends well beyond the reach of the current resources on offer.
At brainstrust, patient and carer well-being is at the heart of what we do, and ongoing input from our community is vital to help us to continue to provide a service that is as relevant as it is valued.
Come and have your say
We would like to invite caregivers of those affected by a brain tumour diagnosis to join us in a group discussion session to help us shape how we can better support those who are caring for their loved ones. You will be helping us to shape our service, and you will also get to spend time with others who understand.
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided, and we will also reimburse reasonable expenses for your travel (agreed in advance).
The session will run from 12:30pm – 2:30pm on Wednesday 21st November and is being held in the London Bridge Room on the Ground Floor of the CAN Mezzanine building, 7-14 Great Dover Street, London, SE1 4YR. The nearest tube station to the building is Borough.
If you are able to come and join us, please could you RSVP through our Meetup site.
