On the 8th September, team brainstrust’s newest members, Chris Seymour, Jason Luckett, James Eyre and Rita Chow, will embark on the adventure of a life time. They will be cycling from Mumbai to Kanyakumari on the southernmost tip of Indi, and all for charity. The distance, at over 2000km, is slightly further than London to Rome, and a lot further than the team’s typical commute to work!
The team of four will be battling against the extreme heat, mosquitoes, exhaustion (and a little bit of saddle sore). Their journey will take them through dusty coastal roads, tropical inland forests and bustling cities, before climbing up into the steep Western Ghat mountains, where their months of training will be put to the test.
The team are raising awareness and sponsorship for brain tumour sufferer Alex Jones who needs £160,000 to pay for the proton beam therapy which he is currently undergoing in the USA, and also for brainstrust. The guys have an ambitious fundraising target of £5000, so visit www.journeytothepoint.com and sponsor the now!
