The Route
Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne, the 13.1 mile route takes runners through the city centre towards the River Tyne and over the iconic Tyne Bridge, where if you’re lucky, you might get a glimpse of the Red Arrows passing overhead.
You will then race through Gateshead, heading towards South Shields, while being cheered on by the thousands of supporters and bands lining the route.
Why take part?
By running with us, you’ll be raising vital funds that will help support people living with a brain tumour to feel less afraid, less isolated and more in control.
How we spend the funds you raise
- £50 – could fund for one of our Brain Boxes
Every new patient to get in touch is offered a brain box, free of charge. This essential support toolkit helps patients and carers feel less isolated and afraid and more in control. - £300 – could fund for one of our Meet Ups
So that people can share information, find mutual support, say ‘hi’ and have some fun.
