At just 22 years old, Niamh is living with brain cancer and has experienced first-hand the difference that brainstrust can make. Having chosen to support the charity, which means so much to her, Niamh organised a bake sale and craft fair on 5 September 2026, bringing together her family and friends to raise funds and show their support.

Here, Niamh shares why brainstrust’s kindness, dedicated team and practical resources have made such a lasting impact on her, and why she’ll continue to support the charity.

“Hi!  My name is Niamh; I am 22 years old and a chose to support and will always support brainstrust because I am currently battling brain cancer and this charity means so much to me.

Not only are they kind, generous individuals but the tools they offer are so special. I would like to thank everybody for their amazing work and dedicated!”

A huge thank you to Niamh, and all those who supported this special event. An incredible £641.25 was raised for brainstrust, helping us continue to support people and families affected by brain tumours.
