Sharing your fundraiser on social media is a great way to let people know about what you’re up to. Here are some tips and resources for getting started.

Tell your story

When you’re letting people know that you’re fundraising, try to explain to them why you’ve decided to raise money. Perhaps the cause is close to your heart, or you recently saw something in the news that inspired you to take action.

By letting people know why you’re raising money it help them understand the importance of their donation.

Hit a big milestone in your training? Reached the halfway point in your fundraising? Share your progress! Keeping everyone up to date with your progress helps people understand why they should donate and let’s people get excited about what your up to.

Sharing

Ask your friends, family and followers to share your fundraising updates on their own social media pages. This will help more people find out about your amazing fundraiser so that you can get closer to your fundraising goal!

Don't forget to include links!

Always remember to include links to your fundraising page whenever you share something about your fundraiser. This makes it super easy for people to support you whenever they see and update from you.
