Jack Jarvis has reached two huge milestones on his Beijing2London challenge, passing £10,000 raised for brainstrust and running more than 2,000km on his journey home.
Jack is attempting to run an extraordinary 13,000km from Beijing to London, raising money and awareness for brainstrust along the way.
And he’s making remarkable progress.
In the first 50 days of the challenge, Jack covered 2,762km, averaging an incredible 55.2km every day. That’s more than 21% of the entire Beijing2London route already behind him, despite having to deal with major logistical challenges along the way, including the theft of his solar power system, a van breakdown and the complexities of navigating visa requirements across China.
Alongside the kilometres, another number has been climbing.
Jack’s supporters have now helped him raise more than £10,000 for brainstrust.
The money raised will help us continue supporting people affected by a brain tumour diagnosis, helping people and their families feel less alone and better able to cope with what comes next.
But with a 13,000km route ahead of him, Jack still has a long way to go.
