Together, with other leading charities, we invite the new government to rise to the challenge of brain tumours

On the 22nd July, we wrote to Wes Streeting MP, the new Secretary of State for Health and Social care. With other leading charities, we wrote together, to invite this current government to offer our support in tackling the challenges presented by brain tumours, and to highlight the areas where we, as a brain tumour community need to see change, and quickly.
As a group we believe that the new government can work with a willing and well-connected brain tumour community to develop research and make the UK an attractive place for science; that they have an opportunity to exploit the progress shown in promising developments in genomics, not least ensuring equity of access to testing for people with a brain tumour; ensure best practice is shared across the NHS, and finally, but vitally, embrace opportunities to improve the quality of life for people on this journey.
We are ready to help.
