This year you helped us to run 30 Meet Ups, attended by nearly 1000 brain tumour patients and carers from Southampton to Aberdeen and many places in between.
5 star feedback for brain tumour support
Like last year, these helpful events got 5 star reviews from all that came. We’re over the moon about this. We know Meet Ups continue to be really valuable, simply because you tell us they are!
“It was so great to meet up yesterday. We all had a lovely time meeting you and the other patients/carers. My mother said an amazing thing in that yesterday really helped her feel stronger about dealing with her condition after meeting you all”
Carer, London, October 2013
“A fantastic evening (thanks Brainstrust). I woke up feeling hopeful, and very happy to have met such wonderful people (who have inspired me to battle on….).”
Patient, Cambridge, 2013
“BRILLIANT!! Glad I went and happy to meet so many people”

Brain tumour support that tackles isolation and fear
Meet Ups help tackle the isolation that we know comes with this terrible disease. They also help us capture your views and give us a chance to hear what’s important to you so we can keep representing your expert voices high up in the health service.
What’s coming up?
We’re committed to building brain tumour support across the UK so that we’ve a community fit to help the 55,000+ people we know to be living with and beyond a brain tumour diagnosis. Key to this will be our Meet Ups.
We’re also going to help you run your own Meet Ups in your communities so when you fancy meeting others in the same boat, you can easily do just that.
