Wear Grey takes place every year to raise awareness of the hidden challenges faced by people with brain tumour. We also raise funds for brainstrust’s mission. This year the campaign is running from the 2-8th October.
Thanks to people from our community sharing the campaign we have already reached 18000 people via brainstrust’s social channels, and many more via some of the incredible partners we have on board.
We’d like to welcome Waters Corporation, Instarmac, Volante, MyTomorrows, Nifty Comms, Cranfield University, Cardiff University, the British Raj Royston and Brain Tumour Research to this year’s campaign and express our sincere gratitude for their support of our mission to make sure people living with a brain tumour are well supported and properly understood.
Members of the brainstrust community are wearing grey and donating to the campaign this week to raise awareness of their journey, in support of a loved one who is living with a brain tumour, or in memory of someone they have lost to this disease.
“I am wearing grey for my beautiful boy who passed in 2021 with a grade 3 DMG. Forever 16” – mum to a childhood brain tumour patient
“I will be wearing grey in memory of my beautiful husband who I lost 6 weeks ago after being diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma. I miss him every second but also relish the years we spent together and the love we shared.” – brain tumour caregiver, and wife
