This week the Society of British Neurological Surgeons are holding their Spring Meeting in Sheffield and we’re delighted to be joining them.
Hosted by the Department of Neurosurgery at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and taking place at Sheffield Hallam University, the event is being held jointly with the Hungarian Neurosurgery Society.
We’re really excited that the event is being held in Sheffield, which is the home of our first regionally focused brain tumour support service, and we’ll be sharing our plans for our work in the area with some of the best neurosurgeons from around the UK.
Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, Gamma Knife and more…
Over the next couple of days we’ll be hearing about new techniques in Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, more about Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and about the exciting therapeutic potential for transplanted stem cells in future neurosurgery.
You can keep up to date with developments from the meeting via our South Yorkshire twitter feed @brainstrust_SY or for more information on our new support service in the area please contact pete@brainstrust.org.uk
