Brain tumour patient, Keith Knight from Brentwood is setting his sights on raising £5,000 for brainstrust by riding 450 miles around the south west coastline of Ireland with two friends starting on June 27.
brainstrust director, Helen Bulbeck, said: “We have given support to Keith Knight, who has a brain tumour, and are truly moved that he wishes to demonstrate his thanks by riding 450 miles to raise much needed funds for brainstrust. Our brain cancer community never ceases to amaze us!”
Keith Knight is being joined by his friends Danny Warby and Toby Atling, also from Brentwood.
Their daily schedule is outlined below:
June 27 – ride from Killarney to Ballyheigue
June 28 – ride from Ballyheigue to Inch
June 29 – ride from Inch around the Dingle Peninsula, returning to Inch
June 30 – ride from Inch to Waterville
July 1 – ride from Waterville to Kenmare
July 2 – ride from Kenmare to Glengarriff
July 3 – ride from Glengarriff back to Killarney
