Research will help you in the future. When you have just heard the words “you have a brain tumour”, you also need help today

We are here to help

Through hearing other people’s narratives we know that we are not the first person to have suffered in this way, although it feels like it. The pain isolates us and it simply feels private. It can’t be shared. No amount of counseling, support or reading can take away the feeling of desolation it does feel like a one-person rope over the abyss.

But we know that hearing about other people’s experiences of brain cancer help us to find our way on our journey. Here we have created a space for people to share their stories with you. And if you want to add your story, then please get in touch.

Here, 6 people share their stories of the ways a brain tumour impacts life, beyond the hospital, treatment and scans. The day to day challenges make life with a brain tumour confusing, lonely and fearful. And that’s where we come in. We’re here to help you live life with a brain tumour.
