This aviation charity is dedicated to raising the spirits of people, young and old, living in difficult personal situations. They run flight experience respite days called ‘Air Smiles Days’ for children and adults living with profound disability, life-limiting conditions, severe illness, bereavement and isolation. These days are built around a flight experience in a light aircraft giving you the chance, literally, to leave your worries on the ground and create a lasting memory of a wonderfully happy day out together. There is always an endless supply of hot chocolate, lunch and a special cake. There is a nomination form of the website and families can also self-refer.
