If you are caring for a family member or friend, this meeting group gives you the chance to have a break for a few hours. The group aims to combat carer isolation and instead provide companionship and the realisation that you are not alone. The carer group meets on the last Monday of each month between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and lunch is provided. You can also drop in to the centre for a cup of tea and a chat with one of their volunteer receptionists, who will have plenty of relevant information available.
