The Big Mother's Day Skydive
This Mother’s Day why not do something amazing to help the thousands of mums who are living with, or caring for someone with a brain tumour.
Take on a skydiving challenge on Mother’s Day, 26th March 2017.
We know how difficult life can be when a member of the family is diagnosed with a brain tumour. We know how many challenges a mum has to face.
We know because brainstrust was founded by a mum.
Ten years ago, Helen, our director of services and policy, found herself in a devastating situation. Her teenage daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour. We know this is the most terrifying experience that a Mum could face. Helen felt isolated, confused and afraid, but she did not give in. She researched everything she could about the condition, sought the best treatment and began to take control. Since then, Helen has worked tirelessly to make sure that no family had to face what hers did alone.
You too can do something to help the many mums and families who are facing a terrifying diagnosis.
Jump 10,000 feet for Mum. Do it this Mother’s Day and make a difference to the lives of mums living with brain cancer.
Skydive for Mum
We’ve got skydives taking place in Oxfordshire, Lincolnshire and Fife. Choose from:
All the jumps are with a fully qualified instructor, so you won’t be alone. As well as the instructor, you’ll join many others who are diving for their mum as part of the brainstrust skydiving challenge.
You’ll receive training before and a certificate afterwards. You’ll also be supporting families whose lives have been devastated by a brain tumour diagnosis.
What your jump means for brain tumour support
Since Helen founded brainstrust, we've gone on to support families whose lives have been devastated by a brain tumour.
We’ll spend the money that you raise in sponsorship from the skydive to help more families take control following a terrifying diagnosis. Together, we’ll ensure that no family faces things alone.
Book your place today
We simply ask that you raise £500 so that we can help more people living with a brain tumour and, in return, we’ll pay for your skydive and the booking fee.
We’ll support you with fundraising every step of the way and we’ll be there, cheering, as you jump on the big day.
