Thames Path Challenge: Walk either 100, 50 or 25km of the river for brain tumour support
More than 4,000 challengers take on the main Thames Path Challenge following England's greatest river - most will be walking, many will jog, some will be running, and this year you can join them, whilst raising vital funds for brain tumour support.
The 100km route takes place over Saturday and Sunday and heads upstream from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km, then on past wonderful scenery all the way to Henley.
It’ll be an unforgettable two days but if it seems a little bit overwhelming, then you can take on a shorter distance for just one day, choosing either 25 or 50km.
To make the challenge even more interesting, you have the choice of walking, jogging or taking the ultra option and taking it on as a sprint.
What the challenge will mean for brain tumour support
“brainstrust has been a shining light in my dark days. Just knowing someone is there is real comfort… It’s great to just know other people truly understand how hard it is sometimes”
Your participation in the Thames Path Challenge will be vital in helping us support more people in the UK who so desperately need our help. The funds you raise will go towards building resources for these people, which will help them feel less alone, less afraid and more in control in the face of a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
