Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon- Join team brainstrust for this popular local race
Famed for the scenic and challenging route, meticulous organisation and friendly marshals, the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon is a special race for the local area. This year you can be a part of the excitement, whilst running to raise funds for brain tumour support.
Voted the No.2 Half Marathon in the UK in 2011 by Runner’s World readers, the race is one of the biggest events in the UK organised by a running club and has been hosted for over 30 years.
The race has donated over £100,000 to charity over the last four years, and now you can run to help people in the area who are living with and beyond a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
This year's race takes place on Sunday 21 February.
What your run could mean for brain tumour support
By taking on the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon with team brainstrust, you’ll help us support more people in the area to feel less afraid, less alone and more in control in the face of a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
Your one run could fund a number of our brain boxes, the toolkit we send out to those diagnosed with a brain tumour:
“Received the brain box yesterday- I cried with happiness. It’s just what we needed – the booklets, information, tea and even hand cream. You have restored our faith in human nature. Thank you” - Carer
Entry to the race is free, we just ask that you raise a minimum of £300 in sponsorship so that we can help more people get back on their feet following a devastating brain tumour diagnosis.
We’ll send you a fundraising pack and a team brainstrust running shirt to wear on the day.
