Great Scottish Run : Join team brainstrust for Scotland's biggest running event
The Great Scottish Run is the biggest running event in Scotland and you can be a part of it with team brainstrust. This year we have places for event’s 10k and half marathon, both of which will take you through the heart of the city and its buzzing race-day atmosphere.
Run the Great Scottish 10k or half marathon and see the best of Glasgow
The 2016 half marathon route will once again pass through many of Glasgow’s iconic venues, even those that are due to play a key role in this summer’s Commonwealth Games, which will undoubtedly provide extra inspiration to the runners on the day.
And the 10K route is no different, just a shortened version of this famous course. Runners still pass iconic landmarks and buildings including The Hydro, The Finnieston Crane and Pacific Quay as they make their way toward the McLellan Arch and the finish line in Glasgow Green.
Why run with team brainstrust?
“brainstrust has been a shining light in my dark days. Just knowing someone is there is real comfort… It’s great to just know other people truly understand how hard it is sometimes”- Brain tumour patient
Your participation in either the Scottish 10k or half marathon will be vital in helping us support more people in the UK who so desperately need our help. The funds you raise will go towards building resources for these people, which will help them feel less alone, less afraid and more in control in the face of a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
