Bacchus Marathon and Half Marathon - Join us for a day of running, wine and festivity
Yes, it’s back. The Bacchus Marathon and Half Martahon, Surrey, are two of the UK’s favourite races. With wine stations en route, a post-race BBQ, encouraged fancy dress and stunning vineyard views, what’s not to like? This truly is an event like no other, the most-fun of all UK races and, better still, you can run either the full race or Half Marathon with team brainstrust again this year.
Kicking off on Sunday 11 September, 10am, the Bacchus Marathon takes place in England's largest vineyard, Denbies Wine Estate, which has been producing award winning wines since 1986. Denbies is the first wine estate in the world to give visitors of all ages a unique and fascinating insight into all aspects of the wine producing process, through tours and tasting. And now they’re equally as famed for putting on one of the most popular marathons in the UK.
You can view the full route, which takes you through the stunning Denbies vineyard of North Downs HERE.
