Cardiff 10K- Join us and raise money for brain tumour support
Now in its 29th Year, the Cardiff 10K is seen as one of the UK’s top races to take part in for charity. The race draws in thousands of fundraisers each year and, as brainstrust is an official charity partner of the event, so you too can be one.
Is this the 10K for me?
Perhaps the best thing about the Cardiff 10K is that it welcomes runners of any ability. Indeed, the great variety of competitors is what makes this 10K such a special event. So, whether you’re a seasoned athlete looking to achieve a new personal best, or a loyal brainstrust supporter who’s willing to power-walk the course in order to raise awareness of brain tumours and our charity, then this is the 10K for you.
What’s more, the funds you will raise through sponsorship will help brainstrust provide vital support to people in Cardiff, and across the UK, who are living with and beyond a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
The event always promises a route to excite and challenge and this year, although new, the experience will be no different. The 2015 route will start from Museum Avenue near City Hall and head North of Cardiff to Roath Park Lake and cover Ty Draw Road and Ninian Road and then head back to City Hall. Keep checking the official event page for announcements on the new specific course.
