Edinburgh Marathon Festival: Run the 10K, half or full marathon for brain tumour support
The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland’s largest running festival of its kind. This year you can be a part of the action, whilst raising vital funds to help us support more people living with a brain tumour. And, with the marathon, half marathon and 10k over the two days, there really is something for everyone.
Now in its 14th year, this popular and ever-growing marathon festival takes place in Scotland’s capital city with Edinburgh Castle as its backdrop. Expect stunning views and an unforgettable running experience with this fast, flat route. 70% of the runners come from outside Scotland, so why not make a weekend of it in this truly beautiful city.
The full marathon kicks off on Sunday 29th May at 9:50am from London Road and 10:00am at Regent Road, Edinburgh, with the course as follows:
Why run with team brainstrust?
“brainstrust has been a shining light in my dark days. Just knowing someone is there is real comfort… It’s great to just know other people who truly understand how hard it is sometimes”
Your participation in any of the Festival's events will be vital in helping us support more people in the UK who so desperately need our help. The funds you raise will go towards building resources for these people, which will help them feel less alone, less afraid and more in control in the face of a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
Entry for all 3 distances in FREE, we just ask that you raise sponsorship as follows: full marathon- £350, half marathon- £200, 10K- £150.
We will send you one of our fundraising packs to help you and a team brainstrust running shirt to wear on the day.
