Lincoln 10k: Run to help people living with a brain tumour
The Asda Foundation City of Lincoln 10K, known for its fast and spectacular course, is now in its 20th year. And this year you can take on the challenge with team brainstrust, and raise vital funds for brain tumour support in the UK.
Why run with team brainstrust?
By running with team brainstrust, you can help us support more people to feel less afraid, less alone and more in control in the face of a terrifying brain tumour diagnosis.
Your one run will fund 3 of our brain boxes.
“Received the brain box yesterday- I cried with happiness. What a lovely box of surprises! It’s just what we needed – the booklets, information, tea and even hand cream. You have restored our faith in human nature. Thank you” - Carer
You could make 3 families' lives better.
Entry to the event is free, we just ask that you raise a minimum of £150 sponsorship so that we can do even more to help people in the UK living with a brain tumour.
We will send you one of our fundraising packs to help you and a team brainstrust running shirt to wear on the day.
To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 07741 316277.
Volunteer at the Lincoln 10K
We’re also looking to recruit volunteers to help make sure things run smoothly on the day. As a volunteer you'd be providing a vital role as a route marshal, by helping with a drinks station or by offering support in the Event Village. Where possible, volunteers will be stationed close to our charity cheering point, so there's a good chance you'd get to see any friends or loved ones taking part in the run.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with, and although you might not be running, you’ll still be helping those affected by a brain tumour in your area.
