Meet Up for children with a brain tumour and their families in the North of EnglandWhen a child has a brain tumour, we know the family needs help too.
Our upcoming day of animal encounters, being organised with the help of The Smiley Riley Fund, will give you the chance to meet other families who really understand what life’s like at every stage of the journey.
The day out will be on Sunday 11th May at The Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife & Falconry Centre, Woodsetts Road, North Anston, Sheffield S25 4EQ.
We understand how tough things can get, and how isolating it can all feel. This Meet Up will help you see that you’re not alone, and will be a great opportunity to share tips and offer mutual support. What's more, it'll be fun for the whole family! We'll be getting up close and personal with mini beasts and meerkats, birds and butterflies, and amazing wildlife from around the world. It will be a real treat that you all deserve.
“It's very rare to sit amongst other families who can relate to the challenges that we are facing with our children. We found it really beneficial”. (Mum, Children’s Meet Up, 2013)

Thanks to the generosity of The Smiley Riley Fund, we are thrilled to be able to fund entry for up to two children and two adults per family. You’re welcome to bring others too, but they will need to pay for their own tickets on the day.
We need to order tickets in advance, so please RSVP at www.meetup.com/brainstrust - there's loads more information about the day over there too.
